American Heart
Association (AHA) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
This is a CPR class for the average citizen who may encounter another citizen
in cardiac arrest during their normal daily activities. The class demonstrates
CPR as done by a single person prior to the arrival of 911 responders.
This class can also include children and infant CPR.
CPR is also taught in junior
high and high school classes during normal class time by the crews from Poulsbo Fire Department, North Kitsap Fire & Rescue,
and the U.S. Navy.
Automatic External Defibrillator

This new class session is added to other CPR classes. It demonstrates
use of an AED in conjunction with CPR to treat a person in cardiac arrest
prior to the arrival of 911 responders.
