Fire Department Five elected officials who comprise the Board of Commissioners govern Kitsap County Fire District 18. The fire district operates the Poulsbo Fire Department. Fire Commissioners are elected to six-year terms. Commissioners act as liaison between the Fire Department and the municipalities it serves. The Commissioners assist the Fire Chief with preparation of the department's budget, review policies and procedures, and monitor various other functions of the department. |
