Fire Suppression

The Poulsbo Fire Department is a full-service fire suppression agency providing firefighting services to Poulsbo, Keyport, Port Gamble, and surrounding unincorporated communities. Our stations are staffed 24/7 with career firefighters, all of whom are trained at least to the level of Firefighter II. Our career staff is supported by a dedicated group of volunteer firefighters, all trained at least to the level of Firefighter I. Poulsbo Fire Department earned a WSRB Protection Class Rating of four, and an insurance rating of four both in the city and county portions of the district.
