Uberuaga voted new Fire Commissioner
We are glad to welcome Jefferey Uberuaga as our newest Poulsbo Fire Commissioner. Commissioner Uberuaga grew up in North Kitsap and has lived and worked in the region during his entire career. He now co-owns two Red Apple stores - one in Poulsbo and one in Bremerton, and he operates the Poulsbo store.
Uberuaga helped start a successful Kitsap County automotive dealership, building it over the course of 20 years into a company with more than 60 employees and selling his interest in 2010.
Commissioner Uberuaga is a member of the NW Grocery Association, is on the board of Liberty Bay Bank, has served on the board of the Poulsbo Historical Society, and is very active in community projects including Fishline. He brings a special passion for supporting the success of local businesses and the regional economy, as well as using his business expertise to assist the Poulsbo Fire Commissioners in the leadership and stewardship of Poulsbo Fire Department.
